Rhum Blanc

40% abv | 80 Proof | 750mL

Here we have an old Portland favorite and a staple in New England’s colonial times: rum. This white rum is inspired by traditional Rhum Agricole of the French Caribbean. We ferment pure evaporated cane juice with a touch of molasses to round things out. After distilling it in our modern (but tiny) hybrid still, we rest the spirit in a stainless steel vessel before finishing and bottling it right on the working water front of the Old Port. We imagine the first settlers would have appreciated this, and hope you do too.
