Position: Manager / Bartender Position

The Manager / Bartender works closely with the General Manager on all related activities such as staff training, quality of service, supply management, sanitation and cleanliness standards. The management team works together to create an atmosphere and reputation for offering quality products and superior guest service.

The Manager / Bartender leads by example and supports the company’s goals and beliefs including:

• Oversee all service activities ensuring we consistently offer exceptional guest service designed to build long-term guest relationships
• Manage the staff efficiently and in a positive manner ensuring that all employees are properly trained, work in a clean and sanitary fashion, show respect for their peers and their workplace and observe and respect company policies
• Oversee all employee’s activities to ensure maximum productivity levels
• Provide coaching and training the entire staff with goals of superior food product and bar knowledge for all employees
• Maintaining a high level of communication with the General Manager and all other staff by interacting in regularly scheduled meetings
• Develop, implement and oversee standards aimed at ensuring the bar workplace is clean, sanitary and inviting to the general public
• Take steps necessary to achieve fast and efficient guest service
• Adherence to, and enforcement of, company policies
• Collaborate with other bartenders and management team keeping a creative and evolving craft cocktail list


• Previous Management experience
• Extensive knowledge of craft beer, craft spirits, and craft cocktails
• Proven working experience as a bartender
• Computer literacy
• Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts
• Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
• Must be Maine T.I.P.S. certified



Position: Weekend host

The weekend host greets customers, seats customers, answers the phone, thanks customers and pitches in as needed on the floor.
