07 Nov 2018 Blushing Star, Old Port Bourbon and Fernet Michaud Named Good Food Award Finalists
We are proud to share news that Blushing Star Barrel Aged Lager with Peaches, Old Port Bourbon Whiskey and Fernet Michaud were just named 2019 Good Food Award Finalists. Each was reviewed this fall in a totally blind tasting and Finalists rank as “the five highest scoring entrants in each category from each region of the country – North, South, East, West and Central.” This year there were over 2,000 entries and 401 finalists, from 40 states.
Being named Finalists in the Beer and Spirits categories is especially exciting for us. We think it says a lot about the quality of every aspect of our production. Because these are the Good Food Awards, it also says a lot about our story — including our dedication to social and environmental responsibility and the fact that we put uniqueness and taste above everything else.
