YOU’RE INVITED! Join us this Saturday November 6th to help celebrate the release of our special beer in collaboration with our friends Novare Res Bier Cafe and Slab.
This is a project we’re really proud of and one we’ve been working on since 2017… That year to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of Novare being open both Eric, our Owner & Founder and Shahin, the Owner of Novare flew to Brussels and attended a full brew day with Brasserie Cantillon. Two weeks after returning from their trip Eric began brewing spontaneously fermented beers on our waterfront in the Liquid Riot Vessel or “LRV” we like to call it.
Inspired by the protected Oude Gueuze of Belgium, over the years Eric and Shahin have been tasting them in hopes that they one day would have a bottled 3 year blend. While not lambic, this was brewed in the tradition of our Belgian friends and intentionally Méthode Traditionelle. Last year they sat down with one of the Novare and Liquid Riot’s original team members & Owner of Slab, Emily Kingsbury and sampled EVERY BARREL BREWED. This blend represents 3 friends past and present. The taste profile has notes of lemon, granite, star fruit, sea mist, and a soft balanced acidity finish.
We will be serving the new LRV 3 Year Blend Vol. 2 all day long this Saturday at Liquid Riot 🎉 Come try it on its own or in a spontaneous beer tasting flight. Plus both Novare Res and Slab will be serving the beer in-house and to-go at their locations with special food pairings.
